The elegant LA POSADA --- The most haunted hotel in Santa Fe -- home to the ghost of Julia Staab & other energies  -- Wild West shades.

BELOW: Ghost tour night time, in front of the LA POSADA... This California duo, (we had a great tour wonderful people)  stand by the picture of JULIA STAAB, this building used to be her mansion. As an adult she was dispatched upstairs, her ghost haunts her old mansion which is now a WORLD CLASS RESORT.  Yes, the resort has a restaurant named JULIA "A Spirited Place".

Above & Below, the old La Posada shingle and the new marquee.  The resort has now embraced the idea  or fact that Julia Staab does haunt her old mansion... 

BELOW: At the end of a safari inside the STAAB MANSION LIBRARY --- Yes, this room on occasions has had all manner of paranormal activity. 

LA POSADA LIBRARY ROOM was one of the mansion's dining rooms for the STAABS & the SANTA FE RING.  Yes, the room is still used for private parties. The BUREAU mirror that is in the RIGHT PICTURE, as well as the wooden entrance beam below, haVE been focal points for past paranormal sightings.

Perplexing things do happen at La Posada on occasion. Below is an ancient photo, that is me on the right but what came into the shot on the left? And what can account for the dimness and energy bolt like activity in the picture? Is it a trick of light, camera malfunction or the ghost of JULIA STAAB?

BELOW: Spoofing -- the TERROR at LA POSADA!  THE SKINNY -- at the end of a tour inside one of LA POSADA's historic staterooms, the bar is through the door to the right.. The art is contemporary but remember all kinds of plotting took place and perhaps a murder or two in LA POSADA -- (THE STAAB MANSION) was the lair of the SANTA FE RING. However this fantastic resort is great place to end the tour and have a beer.

THESE ITEMS CAN HELP IN THWARTING UNCLEAN, EVIL ENERGIES.  AS FOR LA POSADA's GHOST- JULIA STAAB, I MAINTAIN THERE MAYBE OTHER GHOSTS AT HER OLD MANSION.  MY EXPERIENCES WITH THE ENERGY AT THIS PLACE, IT HAS NOT BEEN FRIGHTENING. FOR OTHERS, IT HAS BEEN. 

BELOW: On tour with 2 outlaws and 2 law abiding citizens... This entrance or exit area used to lead right into Julia's ROSE GARDEN... Unfortunately a previous LA POSADA  corporate chiefs of many decades past ordered the tearing up of the large Rose Garden, in its place was a concrete patio area.  When it was a Rose Garden, Julia's ghost or some other phantom was seen in the kept glade.   It looks like the dog in the picture has seen something and does not like whatever it is!  (JULIA's SHADE?  THIS WAS HER OLD  MANICURED ROSE GARDEN.)

BELOW: Another tour -- in the LA POSADA patio.  This large local used to be where Julia's (LARGE -IMMENSE - WELL KEPT) Rose Garden was situated.

BELOW: Abraham Staab -- the Al Capone of Santa Fe. this man headed the nefarious SANTA FE RING --- a WILD WEST mobster organization.  One thing about Abraham, he did like luxury and his mansion -- LA POSADA -- was the RITZ of WILD WEST days and it still is --- the place is majestic.

BELOW: are the stairs that lead to the STAAB SUITE --- upstairs is where JULIA met her fate! WAS IT MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE?

ABOVE: The CHRISTMAS lights do soften the hard look of the stairs --- however  -- on the above floor in the STAAB SUITE -- that is where Julia met her grim fate.  Julia and other energies do haunt the 2nd floor.

 ABOVE RIGHT: note the stairs behind tour guide ALLAN --- notice how steep they are.  Julia's ghost has been see on these stairs by countless La Posada employees, this or last century.

-THIS PHOTO CAPTURES ALLAN ALMOST FALLING ON THE STAIRS--- WHAT HAPPENED? DID ALLAN STEP WRONG OR WAS HIS FOOT SNAGGED? SOMETHING HAPPENED AND ALLAN -- DARE SAYS --- IT WAS NOT A MISS STEP. THE SKEPTICS WILL ATTEST-- ALLAN SIMPLY LOST HIS BALANCE, HIS OWN FAULT. 

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ON ALLAN's WAY DOWN THE STAIRS, NOTHING HAPPENED, HE WAS NOT PUSHED AND  DID NOT MISS STEP.  SOME PEOPLE THINK THEY CAN SEE ORBS IN THIS PICTURE, ALLAN IS NEUTRAL AT BEST, ON THAT IDEA IN THIS SNAPSHOT……...

ACCORDING TO ALLAN ----  AT TIMES THIS ROOM IS! HAUNTED!... LA POSADA is a modern resort that used to be Julias Staab's mansion.The room in photo is JULIA STABB last residence. Some call her quarters the murder room. Al PACHECO's private tour duo, dressed for HALLOWEEN NIGHT as DR. JEKYL or Mr. HYDE & WIFE. THIS DUO KNOWS HOW TO DRESS FOR HALLOWEEN.

ABOVE & BELOW: ALLAN HAD A GREAT TIME LEADING THEM DOWN THE HAUNTED STREETS OF SANTA FE! Before photo was taken, (ALTHEA) she does have psychic ability, sensed something by the window. Althea saw briefly, lights behind the area where she is standing.What ever it was, it did not cause us any problems, except a cold feeling later on. Some people who have viewed this photos say they can see something in the mirror. The ghost of Julia has been know to appear through the mirror or her old bureau, but is that something in the mirror a trick of light?
