ABOVE: What the Plaza looked like circa 1890.  Sadly due to Santa Fe's carpet bagger mayor from PORTLAND, OREGON, ALAN WEBER, the Obelisk in the middle of the picture is no more. The mayor ALAN WEBER waxed and wained when it came to getting the police to confront the radicals -- ANTIFA -RED NATION etc, that were threatening to the tear down the Obelisk in October of 2020.   The Mayor did not step up, he was not there, and the coward  let the thugs have their way, and down went the historical landmark.  Interestingly, it has come out, that there were Federal police in the crowd of rioters, and they did nothing to stop the destruction. Since JAN 6 inquiries into what happened in WASHINGTON D.C., ss in agitators linked or employed to the FEDS that encouraged or took part in the riot. And they have not been held accountable for their actions.  One wonders if these shadow badge men or surrogates of the FEDS, helped lead or encourage the riot that took down the monument?  Was justice done as in arrests of those that destroyed public property, the Obelisk?.
